Aftercare Instructions

Your tattoo does not end when the appointment does. Proper aftercare is essential to protecting the detail, clarity, and longevity of your piece. By carefully following the aftercare instructions provided, you allow your tattoo to heal beautifully and achieve the best possible result.

Permanent Makeup Aftercare

Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing and color retention.

Immediately After your session:

  • Gently blot the area with a clean tissue for the first few hours.

  • Keep the area clean and dry.

Days 1–7:

  • Apply a thin layer of provided aftercare ointment as instructed.

  • Avoid makeup on the treated area.

  • No sweating, swimming, saunas, or direct sun exposure.

  • Do not pick, scratch, or peel.

Flaking and light scabbing are normal. Color will appear darker initially and soften as healed.

Full healing takes approximately 4–6 weeks.

Contact me if you experience excessive redness, swelling, or signs of infection.

Tattoo Aftercare

Day 1:

  • Leave bandage on for recommended time.

  • Gently wash with fragrance-free soap.

  • Pat dry (do not rub).

Days 2–14:

  • Apply a thin layer of fragrance-free moisturizer.

  • Wash 1–2 times daily.

  • Avoid soaking, swimming, or sun exposure.

  • Do not scratch or pick.

Peeling and itching are normal. Avoid tight clothing over the area.

Healing typically takes 2–3 weeks.

Saline Removal Aftercare

This treatment lifts pigment through controlled scabbing. Proper healing is critical.

Immediately After:

  • Keep area dry for 24 hours.

  • Do not apply ointment unless instructed.

Healing Phase:

  • A scab will form. This is normal and necessary.

  • Do NOT pick or remove the scab.

  • Avoid sweating, swimming, and sun exposure.

  • No makeup on the area.

The scab will naturally fall off within 7–14 days.

Full results are visible after 6–8 weeks.

Multiple sessions may be required.

Who Is Not a Candidate?​

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding

  • On Accutane within past year

  • Certain autoimmune disorders

  • Uncontrolled diabetes

  • Active skin infections
